PAN-SEARED MACKEREL laying on a homemade chickpea puree with Italian parsley, organic cherry tomatoes & olive salad. Also Served with  saffron oil potatoes & garnished with crispy capers. Dressing is a simple lemon vinaigrette. You can also substitute MACKEREL with solid albacore tuna or my personal favorite FLOUNDER FISH.

  

 

 

Joaco Cañas' Flat Abs-Sexy Arms-Firm Butt Workout

Joaco Cañas is a defender of United Football League's Loyola Meralco Sparks and a part-time model. He recently made waves when he scored the sole goal in Clear Dream Match, Philippines' all-star football game. Aside from being a feisty football player, did you know that Joaco is also a personal trainer? He studied Sports Science in Madrid and even took up Masters on Events and Personal Training. So aside from playing football, Joaco is also passionate about teaching people the right fitness and nutrition.

 

Check out this fun and easy routine he taught me last week. This is just the 1st set of our workout (Full workout will be shown on Sports Unlimited soon). It may look easy but once you do 4 sets of this routine (with only 2 minutes of rest in-between), you'll feel the burn on your arms, abs and butt!

 

20 reps SQUATS

12 reps PUSH-UPS

16 reps CRUNCHES

Repeat three times.

 

*You can modify number of reps per exercise, depending on your fitness level. Try 20 reps per exercise if you can.

Healthy Fish Recipe Ideas

Bake the fish separately. Sauce on fish is low-fat butter, calamansi, cilantro, salt and pepper.

Body Toning TRX Circuit Workout

 

Start by doing 15 push-ups on the TRX then do 6 arm swingers with both arms going to the side and extending above the head. 

 

Then, in reverse plank position, pull yourself up, getting a full stretch with your arms. This works the back, shoulders and abs.

 

Final exercise is the tricep extension. Do 10 reps. Repeat the entire routine 2 more times for a full body workout.
